The food is good, standard for an American Mexican restaurant in the Midwest. But the owners are amazing. They provide an absolute amazing level of service unmatched by almost any other establishment.
This is our favorite local spot. We love the guava margaritas and the salsa. The Pabellon and beef enchiladas were both great! My wife always gets the tacos and they've never missed. Great spot!
My food was mediocre; bland and greasy. I was hopeful since I used to love Pepitos. Service was super slow despite not being busy. The hostess was super friendly though! I used a new card here that I had just activated; it was the only place I used the card and the waitress was gone with it for quite some time. Shortly afterwards someone paid their att bill with my card (locally) and bought a hat at a local hat shop not far from the restaurant. There is no way to say for certain it was the employee but please be careful.
